Welcome to The Catholic Mama! I’m Christine, a newly minted Catholic, baptized on Easter Vigil 2018. I’ve covered a lot of spiritual ground over the past couple of decades, traveling from being an adamant non-believer to a fervent evangelizer of the Catholic faith.

Now with four young children, a Saint Bernard, and a husband, life is fuller than ever. Through these blessings and The Catholic Mama, I share how I worship Jesus in my vocation and in doing so, hope to bring you closer to God in your own life.

  1. Hi Christine,
I read your conversion story at Coming Home Network.
Your story is full of tension and also very meaningful for me.
So I decided to translate it to my language (Indonesian) in my blog.

Your story called “Bangkit dari Jurang Okultisme dan Ateisme – Kisah Christine Mooney-Flynn”
(Risen from the abyss of occultism and atheism – The Story of Christine Mooney-Flynn)

    Thank you for inspiring us.

    Pax et bonum.

  2. I watched your interview on VMPR with Gary Mechuda and really enjoyed it. I was raised Buddhist and went on to engage in New Age practices so your insights really spoke to my experiences. I came into the Church in 2005 and like you I’m so grateful to be Catholic today.

    1. It’s so good to hear from you! It’s funny how much peace the New Age promises to help a person find, but man, it cultivated confusion above all else. Thank God (literally!) that He brought us home.
