EP 110: How – and Why – to Keep Celebrating Easter for the Entire Season with Genie Shaw

Looking at the secular world, it would be easy to think that, come Easter Monday, the most important holiday in the Christian religion is over. Time to pack up and move along to Memorial Day. But not so! Easter Sunday is the first – not the only – day of Easter, a season which lasts 50 days in the liturgical calendar.

In Episode 110 of The Catholic Mama podcast, Genie Shaw from Barefoot Abbey joins me to talk about how to keep the celebrations going from now to Pentecost, and more importantly, why we need to.
