EP 89: A Call to Modesty – It’s Not Just for Teenage Girls

Based on listener feedback after this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, in this episode of The Catholic Mama podcast, my hubby joins me to tackle the topic of modesty. It’s a tricky concept nowadays, with many people mistaking what it actually is, thinking it’s some kind of patriarchal or puritanical ploy to hold young women down.

So first, we define modesty, again it’s not some kind of puritanical vice, but a good and beautiful virtue. Next, who modesty is for (spoiler: it isn’t just for teenage girls) and then how we can protect our children in an immodest culture and what we can do as Catholic Christians to promote modesty.

You can listen to the episode here or listen to it on iTunesStitcherGoogle Play or iHeartRadio.

We mentioned a couple of resources in this episode including:

EP 63: What (and When) Should Catholics Boycott
