If you’ve ever spoken with a non-Catholic Christian about religion, there’s a good chance that they have challenged Catholic teachings in some way – whether it’s the concept of salvation, why we have a pope, why we call a priest “Father” and so on. And unless we’ve boned up on Scripture, it can be really difficult to give good reasons as to why we believe what we do as Catholics.
Enter Karlo Broussard, who is a Catholic husband, father, and apologist for Catholic Answers, and his book Meeting the Protestant Challenge: How to Answer 50 Biblical Objections to Catholic Beliefs.
I had a chance to chat with Karlo about the book on Episode 133 of The Catholic Mama Podcast. We also worked through three of the objections, including evidence for the Office of the Pope, the Catholic teachings on salvation, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I think you’ll find this episode super helpful and interesting.
So download the episode below or listen to it on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play iHeartRadio, or anywhere you normally access podcasts. The Catholic Mama is there! And be sure to catch up with Karlo at KarloBroussard.com.
