Memorist and Holy Apostles College professor Dr. Cynthia Toolin-Wilson’s life started in a way most of us cannot imagine – her mother attempted to chemically abort her. The ramifications of this knowledge when she came to know it as a child spread throughout much of her life, causing her to engage in self-destructive behavior.

But through God’s love and the Catholic Church, she came to forgive both her parents for the wrongs they inflicted upon her and herself.
