As we enter another school year, it’s important that we don’t leave off celebrating our faith through its many feast days. We are the cultivators of The Domestic Church after all!
The autumn season of the Catholic liturgical calendar includes so many great saints and celebrations that you definitely don’t want to miss out on.
Of course, the more feast days there are, the more overwhelming it can be to choose which ones to celebrate and how to do it without feeling tapped out both mentally and financially.
Genie Shaw of BarefootAbbey.com does such a wonderful job of offering simple but beautiful ways to include our Faith in the everyday. From prayers to food, Genie’s ideas are the minimalist Catholic moms’ dream 🙂 so I’m happy to say that Genie joined me on a recent episode of The Catholic Mama podcast to give an overview of which feast days are coming up between the September 14th Exaltation of the Cross through the end of the Catholic year on Christ the King Sunday (right before Advent begins).
So if you want to plan out which feast days you’ll be celebrating as a family this fall, LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE!! Download the episode below or listen to it on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play or anywhere you normally access podcasts. The Catholic Mama is there!
Also! I just launched The Domestic Church, a monthly membership that helps busy Catholic moms and dads enjoy guided spiritual readings through a unique virtual book club, plan a minimalist feast day celebration, and request a spiritual bouquet. Just $10 a month, this patreon-like membership will help The Catholic Mama continue to reach more Catholics seeking to deepen their faith. Learn more and sign up HERE!
